Behind the scenes of 100 Years of Danish Modern
Do you know Copenhagen Airport, Krøyer's square, Radiohuset, DR-byen or VEGA? Then you also know Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects!
This year we celebrate our 100th anniversary and you are invited. On Culture Night, we open the doors into the engine room of a modern architectural company that has created architecture since 1922.
Experience architecture through Virtual Reality, draw as an architect, see a live model workshop, see design comes to life and watch as building and nature merge together.

Hear about the transformation from historic industry to living urban environment, the iconic works such as the Elephant Gate and the winding chimney, the European School, the Campus, Bohr's Tower and the new square, which will be home to the 120-metre high Pasteur's Tower.

It starts of at Århusgade district, where you can hear about the historical development. With a focus on nature, walk through courtyards, hear about the Kronløb Island public urban space, and end in our studio.

Visit Krøyer's Square at Culture Night
This year, visitors to Culture Night can visit Krøyers square together with Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects. At the square, guests will, among other things, hear more about the exciting history of the newly interpreted warehouses, how they finally managed to build on a sensitive site, and why some of the bricks are facing backwards.
