DTU Science Park to become a hub for growth and life science in Medicon Valley

In Medicon Valley, Hørsholm, we are constructing DTU Science Park – a new 7,450-square-metre research and development building. The building is designed to promote growth, innovation and research within life science.

With its central location in Medicon Valley, DTU Science Park will serve as a focal point for some of Denmark’s leading life science companies. The project also supports the government’s recently launched life science strategy, aimed at strengthening a rapidly growing sector.

We are integrating the building naturally into the surrounding forest. Large windows open out towards the landscape, offering staff views of the flora and fauna. To preserve and enhance biodiversity, we will replant existing trees one-to-one. At the same time, we are establishing rainwater management systems that create thriving ecosystems for plants, insects and wildlife.

The project combines state-of-the-art research facilities with a strong focus on nature and biodiversity. Development will take place in stages and include two to three buildings. The main building will be designed as an elongated structure with flexible layouts, allowing interiors to adapt to changing needs over time. ALK will move into the first building, while the second is planned as a multi-tenant facility for several companies.

DTU Science Park is being built in close collaboration with Hoffmann A/S, Artelia and STED.
