As of April 1, 2025, we’re proud to welcome architect and project manager Rikke Steinicke as the newest partner at Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects. Since joining us in 2013, Rikke has played a key role in shaping many of our most prominent projects and collaborations in Denmark.
Over the past 12 years, she has brought valuable experience across a wide range of scales and typologies, helping to strengthen our position in the Danish market. Her dedication to project management and stakeholder engagement has consistently contributed to the quality and impact of our work.
We’re excited to bring Rikke’s perspective even closer to the strategic development of our practice. As she puts it: “I look forward to joining a dynamic group of partners in a studio whose culture and legacy are defined by high professional standards and pride in being a trusted collaborator. I’m excited to bring that approach to the strategic development of our business.”
She continues: “As architects, we’re increasingly expected to shape and facilitate processes and engage stakeholders to create the right conditions for great architecture. That’s what I’m passionate about — and I’m looking forward to developing that expertise even further.”
A Natural Step in Our Growth Journey
Rikke’s appointment marks a natural next step in our continued development. Since our acquisition by the German private equity firm Findos and the expansion of our partner group in 2021, we’ve been focused on building our capacity to meet growing complexity and expectations in the industry.
As our CEO, Frants Nielsen, explains: “The complexity of our work — and the expectations placed on us as architects and designers — have grown significantly. With her expertise in project management, and her empathy and professionalism, Rikke has been key to creating the conditions for many successful, long-term collaborations. It’s a privilege to welcome her to the partner group.”
Frants adds: “Rikke is a trusted advisor and colleague. She naturally builds trust — something we believe is essential to any strong partnership.”
Rikke will continue in her role as project manager on ongoing work, including the current four-year strategic framework agreement between Hoffmann A/S and the Danish Building and Property Agency (Bygningsstyrelsen).
She will officially join our partner group on April 1, 2025, which will then include Anne Møller Sørensen, Christian Egedius Bendtsen, Daniel Illum-Davis, Lasse Herbo Madsen, Malte Rosenquist, Michael Schytt Poulsen, Simon Natanael Svensson, Thomas West Jensen, Torsten Stephensen, and Rikke Steinicke.
