We are pleased to announce that Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects is now part of VerkaCollective – a new European architectural collective founded on a shared ambition to strengthen the role and reach of architecture in a time shaped by complex urban and societal challenges.
Together with Kjaer & Richter, STED City and Landscape, and Heine Plan, we form a community of independent architectural practices, united as VerkaCollective.
VerkaCollective exists to address the many complex challenges facing the building industry. We build synergies across geographies, typologies and expertise, believing we have a much greater impact when we work together.
As part of VerkaCollective, Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects continues unchanged as an independent brand with its own leadership, culture and professional profile and our identity, history and architectural position remain.
A new way of organising architectural practice
VerkaCollective is not simply a group of studios; it is a shared organisational framework designed to strengthen the participating practices strategically and commercially. The collective is founded on the conviction that architects should remain in the driver’s seat. We believe the value of architecture is enhanced when we combine local insight with European reach, professional diversity with shared ambition, and creative independence with strategic resources.
Stronger together
For us, becoming part of VerkaCollective is not only about growth. It is about creating stronger conditions for architectural development, enabling collaboration across borders, and responding to future demands with strength, curiosity, and shared values.
We look forward to developing this new community together with our colleagues across the collective – and to shaping the role of architecture in Europe in the years to come.
