Lodshaven - New Project in Nordhavn

We are thrilled to present Lodshaven, a new destination in Copenhagen's Nordhavn, where sea, urban life and biodiversity merge.

Named Lodshaven, the proposal will transform the outermost part of Marmormolen in Nordhavn. The project combines Copenhagen's first bio-botanical urban garden with two new buildings, creating a unified destination for locals and visitors alike.

“The garden, inspired by the urban development around Marmormolen, adds a unified narrative where biodiversity and the city come together. The architecture draws on both the historical and the modern Copenhagen skyline, with flexibility as the basic idea for the future function of the buildings,” says our partner Thomas West Jensen.

The area stretches from Marmorvej to the tip of Marmormolen and includes the city park, Lodshaven of approx. 10,000 m² and the commercial buildings, Lodshusene, which together cover approx. 33,000 m².

The project is developed by the project company Harbour A/S, which consists of PensionDanmark, ATP Ejendomme and By & Havn. Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects, STED By og Landskab and Artelia Denmark are behind the project proposal. The proposal must now be approved by the citizen representation, and once the local plan is in place and tenants have been found, the project will start.
