Life Science
Situated in the heart of the research park north of Copenhagen, we are designing a state-of-the-art research and development building to support growth, innovation, and research within Life Science. The architecture integrates seamlessly with the surrounding forest, offering expansive views of local flora and fauna and ensuring a strong connection to nature for future employees.
The design reflects a commitment to both cutting-edge R&D facilities and biodiversity. Native trees, including oak, beech, and ash, will be replanted on a 1:1 basis, while Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) will create thriving ecosystems for plants, insects, and animals.
The development will proceed in phases, comprising 2-3 buildings. Designed as a long structure with a flexible layout, the building will adapt to changing needs, ensuring long-term durability and usability. ALK will occupy the first building, while the second is planned as a multi-tenant facility for businesses of various sizes.
We look forward to collaborating closely with DTU Science Park, Hoffmann A/S, Artelia and STED By og Landskab throughout the process.
