CEO change at Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects

After more than five years as the CEO of Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects, Gyrithe Saltorp is stepping down from her position. The Board of Directors has initiated the process of finding a suitable successor.

Under Gyrithe Saltorp's leadership, Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects has undertaken an ambitious development journey over the past five years. The company expanded its circle of owners and partners, acquiring STED By & Landskab and the Aarhus-based architect firm Kjær & Richter. It also ventured into furniture design as a new business area, achieving consistently strong financial results despite challenges such as rising interest rates and material prices in the market.

As the company embarks on the next phase of its development journey, the Board now seeks a new CEO to guide its future endeavours.

"The Board of Directors and the partners extend our gratitude to Gyrithe for her significant and dedicated contributions over several years and her substantial role in the strategic development of Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects. Gyrithe has played a crucial part in the company's growth. As we enter a new phase, we are looking for a leader with top-level competency, particularly in scaling companies internally, externally, and beyond the country's borders," says Karin Verland, Chairperson of the Board of Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects, speaking on behalf of the owners.

There will now be a transition period of 4-6 months until the Board identifies and appoints the new CEO.

"We are now embarking on a process to find the profile that will lead the next round of the company's development journey. In the interim period, we have put together an experienced interim management team to ensure stable operation of the company's projects and administration," says Thomas West Jensen, Partner at Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects and part of the interim management team.

Gyrithe Saltorp has stepped down as CEO as of today.
