New artworks unveiled ahead of the inauguration of Denmark’s new learning centre

Denmark’s new national learning centre for children and young people, LIFE Campus in Lyngby, is nearing completion. Yesterday, a preview event was held for two new outdoor installations, where artist Jeppe Hein presented his reflective sculptures. The polished steel is intended to intensify the experience of the surrounding nature, referencing the vision behind the LIFE Foundation – to inspire interest and enthusiasm for science among Danish school pupils.

The unveiling comes in the lead-up to the inauguration of the 4,000 m² learning centre, which will take place on 8 October. LIFE Campus is initiated by the LIFE Foundation, a Danish commercial foundation with a public-benefit vision to strengthen science education, literacy, and research.
