New partners at Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects

Seven have become thirteen in a new partner group at Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects, which has experienced strong growth over a number of years.

The decision to welcome new partners in a new partnership structure at Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects follows the company’s expansion of its ownership circle this spring with an international investor, aimed at boosting the company’s growth journey as an independent consultancy.

"With the new partners, we ensure that there are leadership resources to realise our ambitious strategy for new development areas. This includes sustainability and digitalisation, as well as efforts to expand internationally," says Gyrithe Saltorp, CEO of Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects.

Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects is among Denmark’s largest architectural firms and is known for projects such as Copenhagen Airport, DR Byen, Krøyers Plads and the super hospital New North Zealand Hospital, as well as a number of sustainable projects. The company collaborates with international architects such as Swiss Herzog & de Meuron, American Steven Holl and Japanese Kengo Kuma & Associates.

"The new partners are six talented and very diverse profiles who together can help fulfil our goal of continued growth. At the same time, they also serve as the next generation of standard-bearers for our almost 100-year-old vision of delivering high-quality functional architecture based on integrity, independence and community," says Gyrithe Saltorp.

The partner group at Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects now consists of Anne Møller Sørensen, Christian Egedius Bendtsen, Daniel Illum-Davis, Gyrithe Saltorp (CEO), Jakob Meyling, Jeppe Dueholm, Lasse Herbo Madsen, Malte Rosenquist, Michael Schytt Poulsen, Simon Natanael Svensson, Thomas Scheel, Thomas West Jensen and Torsten Stephensen.
