The sun was shining on the icy January day when PFA Ejendomme and EG A/S held the topping-out ceremony for the new EG headquarters in Ballerup on Friday, 6 January 2017.

The new headquarters in Ballerup brings together the IT group’s two main departments at one address – a new 5,100 m² capital headquarters spread over five floors.

The architecture of the headquarters supports the IT company’s ambitions and need to create better opportunities for collaboration between employees, both physically and virtually. As EG is also developing rapidly, the building has been designed with enough flexibility to allow for adjustments over time. Among other things, it will be possible to extend the building by 2,000 m².

"With the new headquarters, we have, together with our partners, designed our workplace according to the way we want to work, with, for example, more areas set up for idea development and cross-department collaboration outside formal meeting rooms," says EG CEO Mikkel Bardram.

Construction of the headquarters began in 2016 and is expected to be completed in the summer of 2017.
