Description:
‘Krøyers Plads’ is a modern version of the old harbor warehouses. The project consists of 38 high-end apartments in combination with the harbour front, a new square, and lively and attractive restaurants on the ground floor. The project has a prime location in the Copenhagen harbour overlooking ‘Nyhavn’ and is the neighbour to the world’s best restaurant ‘Noma’. The architecture is reinterpreting the old warehouses. The facades are made of special bricks, making the building able to blend in with the surrounding historical buildings. The project is the first apartments in Denmark to be ecolabeled by the Nordic Ecolabel.

Architect: Herzog & de Meuron + Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects
Description:
The healing architecture of New North Zealand Hospital – designed by Herzog & de Meuron – will set new standards in healthcare design and healthcare delivery. With a modest four floors at its highest point, the hospital is designed on a very human scale despite its large size. The soft, organic form of a four-leaf clover connects the many components of the hospital and ensures a feeling of safety as well as efficient flows. To support the healing of each patient the wards will have a view over the green garden in the centre or over the surrounding landscape.
