New residential development at Langeliniespidsen planned with Lendager and STED

A forthcoming residential development aims to connect city life, the harbour and the surrounding landscape at the tip of Langelinie, while giving Copenhageners more places to live and more reasons to visit the iconic waterfront destination.

The site at the very tip of Langelinie in Copenhagen was originally planned for a series of commercial developments. The vision has since evolved into a larger residential project combining private and social housing with new green urban spaces and a public harbour bath for residents and visitors.

The project is being developed by Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects, Lendager and STED By & Landskab on behalf of Harbour P/S, which is owned by PensionDanmark Ejendomme, ATP Ejendomme and By & Havn. Together, they share the ambition of revitalising the tip of Langelinie and transforming it into a vibrant new destination.

The project at the tip of Langelinie completes a wider development masterplan also including the tip of Marmormolen. Here, Harbour P/S plan to develop the commercial building Lodshusene, together with a new public urban park.

Both projects are pending approval of a new local development plan.
