Klosterbakken

The building is located in the heart of Odense, close to the historic medieval centre. The site is located on the banks of the green river valley with direct access to the green areas.

The history of the property dates all the way back to about 1874 when the Munke Møller Clothing Factory was established. At the time, the address was Filosofgangen, and the site was like an island in Odense River, along the banks of which Filosofgangen ran.

The housing development on Klosterbakken features three structures laid out in a fan shape, opening up towards the river and the green area. The fan shape ensures a good visual connection between Klosterbakken and the green areas and Odense River.

Between the three structures, there are courtyards and gardens, which are used for communal recreational areas and for car and bicycle parking.
