Design
Nyx is a series of outdoor lamps for mounting on a wall or mast, which Vilhelm Lauritzen has created in collaboration with Focus Lighting.
Nyx 190 appears light and simple with a lamp housing in cast silumin and shielding in opalised polycarbonate. It is available in two color variants, a dark graphite gray and a lighter silver gray, both with a metallic finish that gives the surface a vibrant glow.
The Nyx lamp, which was introduced in 2004 in collaboration with Focus Lighting, is among Denmark's most popular, newer street lamps. The lamp is cast in aluminum and characterized by having a high and efficient spread of light without glare.
