The overall area is 15,400m2, distributed over nine floors. It was 3D-planned from the first sketch to meet the lofty ambitions for environmental, social, and economic sustainability. Furniture, fittings, and decoration are predominantly made out of recycled materials. Acoustics and the thermal indoor environment were high priorities. The building’s high degree of sustainability is the result of an efficiently passive building design.

The building is Y-shaped. All workplaces are situated close to the façade, thereby minimising the need for artificial lighting and providing all users with access to daylight and views of the surroundings. In the heart of the building is the building’s social and professional ‘epicentre’: a unifying, circular atrium with space for human interaction and knowledge sharing.

Gladsaxe Company House is a modern, multi-user property featuring common facilities for several tenants, including a lobby, a gym, conference centre, and an open, multifunctional canteen with access to an outdoor area in the surrounding parkland and arrival forecourt.

In 2016, Gladsaxe Company House was nominated for the prestigious MIPIM Award for ‘Most Innovative Sustainable Building’ and was the first office building in Denmark to receive DGNB Platinum certification.
